Organize a group and use our online registration tool or get a CHSA California Voter Registration Tool Kit and organize your volunteers to register people in your community.

Reminder: The recently reauthorized Head Start Act signed into law in December 2007. The Act’s specific provision allows “nonpartisan organizations” (such as CALWV) to use Head Start facilities “during hours of operation . . . to increase the number of eligible citizens who register to vote in elections for Federal office.”

not be denied on account of race, color, or
    previous condition of servitude.

  • 1965 - Voting Rights Act of 1965 - Enacted
    to enforce the 15th Amendment
