New California research demonstrates that children are better prepared for school thanks to Head Start.



Head Start program leaders are invited to attend the second meeting of California’s Early Learning Quality Improvement System (CAEL QIS) Advisory Committee - Wednesday, June 10, 2009. The purpose of the CAEL QIS is to improve outcomes for children and reduce California’s school readiness gap by improving the quality of our early learning and care programs.
Head Start will be featured at this meeting to be held at the Yolo County Office of Education and connected through videoconferencing to four regional locations. For more information visit.
